Flounce or No Flounce?

I am almost done with this sundress, just need to insert the side zipper and hem it. The pattern is Burda 8071. Should I add the flounce around the bottom hem, or just hem it? (And yes, I do plan to get different shoes)

Hmm… flounce if you want to dress it down, and no flounce if you want to dress it up.

And open-toed shoes, either way =)

I say flounce is always good on that shape dress. Beautiful job so far!

No flounce, the pattern is already pretty busy. Keep it clean and simple! Beautiful!

It looks fine as it is, but rather simple.

I vote flounce, but neither option is right or wrong. 🙂

I say flounce! That material is begging for it!

I vote flounce too. That fabric has a fun sassyness to it, and the flouncy hem will add to it.

Flounce. It’s lovely as it is but I think a flounce would be even better. The fabric is just perfect.

My vote is no flounce, but I’m not really a flouncy gal, so I’m biased. But the real reason I’m writing is to say that I LOVE what you’ve done! Absolutely beautiful. I may need to pick up that pattern myself… 🙂
